Introduction

This client supplies office and warehouse storage units to businesses throughout the UK. The company has a large customer contact database, which covers the public and private sector. Some of these are regular clients, but a large majority are businesses with whom they had not maintained regular contact. Remote Business Support provides marketing support to the client on a retainer each month.

Our Approach

Remote Business Support undertook a full marketing audit of the client's business to understand their products, the marketplace in which they operated and a review of previous marketing activity.

We then produced a tactical marketing plan for the client that included the provision of a new website. A new website was needed in order to show case their product range to better effect, to be able to gain a strong organic presence on search engines and to ultimately strengthen their position in the marketplace. Remote Business Support project managed the new website, which involved writing the brief for the designer and developer, overseeing all stages of the build and copywriting for the entire site.

The client now has a more streamlined customer contact database, which contains full up-to-date contact information for each client.

The client's customer relationship management has improved significantly through the implementation of a monthly email marketing strategy and regular phone contact with the client database. This hasled to an active sales funnel of enquiries that is now properly managed and followed up.
